Cross stitch time estimator
Plan sessions using your own comfortable stitching speed.
How it works
Estimated hours = remaining stitches ÷ personal stitches per hour, plus your chosen overhead. Count a typical session to find your speed. Confetti, fractionals, backstitch, and frequent color changes can be slower than a solid block.
A worked example
4,000 stitches at 120 per hour need about 33.3 stitching hours, or 40 hours with 20% overhead. Half-hour sessions would take about 80 sessions.
