How this generator works
Overlay mosaic chart with alternating row colors. Blank cells are back-loop single crochet; X cells are front-loop double crochet two rows below. The tool enforces a same-color landing stitch two rows below. Work right-to-left, one pass per row, with separate border stitches; make a swatch first.
