How it works
This original 5 × 7 block alphabet uses full crosses. One blank column separates letters. Only A–Z and spaces are supported; accents and other writing systems need a different alphabet and are not silently removed.
A worked example
LOVE is 23 stitches wide and 7 stitches tall at scale 1. At 14 count, the letters occupy about 1.64 × 0.50 inches before margins.
